Mermaids??

Just for grins, we are making mermaid pieces to take to Design class next month. Heather will have to eat her words about making "something horrid like mermaids"...hehe

Here's the start of Cynthia's piece. The background is hand dyed silk, the figure is a modification of a figure used on an earlier piece, and the green fabric to be used for the tail, is hand dyed velvet quilted to tyvek then melted to scrunch it up.
